When we were camping up in Flagstaff we had the charcoal stove going as well as a nice fire after we were done eating. This meant some fire safety. We needed a nice ring of stones as well as something to snuff out the fire when we were done. Now I know there are other uses for a shovel at a campsite, but we were in an RV, so we previously hadn’t needed one. The Coleman Folding Shovel and Pick sure fit the bill. It reminded me of the shovels I had when I was in the Army. Simple and small and easy to stow.
